Features

    Round die design with chamfers on both faces; one face features a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for initial threading, the opposite face a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

    Fine pitch adjustment screw expands or contracts the die halves to set the desired thread size and runout characteristics.

    Slot is beveled to allow adjustment when used in a machine holder; removal of the adjusting screw enables adjustment via the holder’s screws.

    High Speed Steel construction provides improved wear life for repeated threading operations on tougher materials.
